About Me

Hello everyone. I’m an almost 30 year old mom from Nebraska. I have 5 great kids, and yes we know what causes that. :) People tell me all the time that I have my hands full, and about a year ago I probably would’ve agreed with you. Then we had our youngest just a few short months ago, and I decided that my hands were no longer full, they were just busy.

I’m also married to my high school sweetheart. Though we didn’t start dating until the night before his high school graduation. I was “that girl” who he chased all throughout high school, always telling him no when he would ask me out on a date. Finally the night before his graduation, he was a year ahead of me in school, I decided to see if he wanted to go to graduation parties with me. The rest is history. We have been together for almost 12 years now, married for 10 this coming December. We have a Chocolate Lab, Jackson, and a cat named Telly. We have had Jackson since buying our own home almost 9 years ago now. It will be a sad day when it is time to let him go to doggy heaven.

I love all things baby and kid related, I would say that I’m a “crunchy” mom but that would imply way too much! So let me tell you what I do love. We LOVE using cloth diapers, and it has lead to other earth friendly choices throughout our home. I’m also a mom who breastfeeds her babies. It wasn’t always an easy road, and so we did formula as well. I don’t judge other moms’ choices but am always there to lend a listening ear or offer suggestions on either things if you need help! We are also a baby wearing family, but I prefer to stick to what I love and don’t venture out to try many new thing.

I have blogged on and off for the last 6 years, at first just a small little family blog about our life. Then I moved on to reviewing cloth diapers and trying all sorts of brands to help moms’ get a view of them all. After we transitioned out of diapers I sort of fell off the blogging bandwagon. :( When I finally decided it was time to start back up again I decided a new blog was in order.
